Every one of these is a surface that has to hold liquid, take abuse, or both — and can't be out of service for a week while a coating cures.
Spill buckets and containment sumps. Spill buckets catch drips at the fill and vapor connections; dispenser, tank-top (STP) and transition sumps give access to piping and are designed to be liquid-tight [1]. Water intrusion through failed seals, cracks, corrosion and degraded boots is the usual reason they fail their three-year integrity test [1][2]. Spray polyurea, applied over a structurally sound and properly repaired sump, restores a continuous, chemical-resistant, liquid-tight interior in a single visit — and cures fast enough that the retest can follow as soon as the system's cure allows.
Forecourt and tank pads. Concrete at the dispensers and over the tank field takes fuel drips, road salt and freeze-thaw. A polyurea membrane seals the slab, bridges cracks and can carry a slip-resistant texture.
Canopy decks and roofs. Seamless waterproofing over metal or concrete canopy decks; aromatic base with an aliphatic topcoat where sun exposure matters.
Wash bays, trench drains and oil-water separator pits. Same problem, same answer: a monolithic liner with no seams to fail.
Dikes, berms, pits and sumps. Concrete containment cracks, joints open, and the coating that was supposed to hold a spill is the first thing to fail. A spray polyurea membrane at 60–125 mils bonds to the concrete, bridges joints and cracks, and gives a single seamless surface with published resistance to fuels, oils and many acids and alkalis [7][8].
Tank interiors and exteriors. Steel and concrete tanks for fuel, wastewater and process water — blasted, primed and lined to the manufacturer's immersion guidance [7][8]. Manufacturer case work shows tank retrofits completed in days rather than weeks because the liner cures in minutes [9].
Manholes, wet wells and lift stations. Hydrogen-sulfide and abrasion resistance with no seams.
Epoxy is rigid. Containment structures move with temperature and load, and every crack in the epoxy is a leak path. Polyurea's elongation lets it move with the structure, and it can be sprayed in the cold and damp conditions that stop epoxy work in the Mid-Atlantic for half the year [8][10].

Polyurea systems are published for marine decks and hulls, blast-mitigation coatings on walls and vehicles, pond and lagoon liners, and encapsulation of lead paint or asbestos [7][14]. If the job is unusual, ask — the material is more versatile than the truck-bed reputation suggests.
